A warm welcome to Forge Place
Bed and breakfast in the New Forest
Caroline and John Brace offer you a warm welcome to their family home and hope you will experience some of the peace and tranquillity of the countryside setting. Forge Place is situated in the hamlet of Bockhampton, on the edge of the New Forest National Park.
We offer contemporary bed and breakfast accommodation with an emphasis on luxury and comfort, in a tranquil rural setting. Forge Place is an ideal location to explore the New Forest, and nearby coastal towns with seven miles of beautiful beaches. We are close to the beautiful town of Christchurch, with the Avon Valley Footpath passing our front door. At the end of the day, our local country pub, The Lamb Inn, offers a perfect way to spend an evening with good quality food.
We have two beautiful ground-floor double rooms, with contemporary en-suite shower rooms in a converted cottage in our garden. Each has its own private entrance and a designated car park for guests. Each bedroom also has a kitchenette and flat-screen television.
Cyclists and walkers are welcome, and there is plenty of room for muddy boots and wet clothing.
Secure undercover storage for bikes.
You can always be sure of a warm and friendly greeting at Forge Place. All new guests are welcomed with tea and one of Caroline's home-made chocolate cakes, on arrival.
Unfortunately we can not accept dogs, as our pets wouldn’t like it.
“A peaceful and beautiful place to get away from it all. We enjoyed breakfast in style followed by a beautiful day exploring the delights of the area.”
